Thirty people were injured on Friday, July 4, mostly slightly because of the explosion of a service station in Rome, the city mayor, Roberto Gualtieri, told the media. Nine members of the police and twenty other people are among the injured, he said.

“According to firefighters, everything started from a gas leak”said Mr. Gualtieri on the spot. The fire was launched by a gas leak at the time when a tank truck supplied the service station. An investigation was opened.
