Live, war in Ukraine: more than 160 clashes between Russians and Ukrainians on Monday

It's still in the Pokrovsk region (📍), in the Donetsk oblast, in the east of the country, that these fights are the most numerous. The Ukrainians announced that they have pushed 54 Russian assaults there, nearly a third of the total, in different localities. A few kilometers to the southwest, the Russians also launched 17 offensives in the direction of Novopavlivka (📍).

The Ukrainian staff also reports a dozen Russian offensives, all pushed, north of Soumy (📍) from several localities close to the Russian border. On the other part of this front, northeast of Kharkiv (📍), Ukrainian forces say they have rejected seven Russian advance attempts.

The Ukrainian army also reports on other Russian offensives, still in the east of the country: 27 in the Taretsk region (📍), 24 towards Lyman (📍), 12 towards Kramatorsk (📍) and 6 towards Koupiansk (📍).

In the South, the Ukrainians say they have rejected six Russian offensives in the direction of Prydniprovske (📍), in Kherson's oblast.
