Wildly bodies scattered in the Boutcha streets to civilian victims of the Bombing of the Russian army, buildings affected by missiles with the environmental consequences of the conflict, rare are the aspects of war which escape the will of Ukrainian society to identify everything, document, archive. Initiatives are counted by the hundreds. And they are not limited to the current armed conflict with Russia: countless projects revisit the history of Ukraine, culture and the arts as much as cooking, fauna or flora.
Ukrainians are certainly not the first to have passionate about the documentation of their own war in real time. For the past fifteen years, by historical conscience, thirst for information or hope of justice, and thanks to the development of means of communication and technologies, the protesters of the Arab countries, the Iranian rebels, the Syrian besieged and to the Gazaouis currently cut off from the world, activists have paved the way for the documentation of a day -to -day conflict. But Ukraine undoubtedly crosses a level, never seen before, by its magnitude.
