In London, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which hosted a good part of the London Olympic Games in 2012, is the subject of an exciting regeneration. Between the Lea river canal and the residential district of Stratford, in this part of the capital that has remained popular – and prized by artists for its not too exorbitant rents – have settled in the Sadler's Wells East in recent months, an annex to the Sadler's Wells theater dedicated to contemporary dances, and brand new campus from the London fashion school and the University College London. The V & A East Storehouse, an innovative extension of the Victoria and Albert Museum, venerable Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts, founded in 1852, opened to the public on Saturday May 31.

In a huge building that housed the radio and television teams during the Olympic Games, the Victoria and Albert Museum transferred a good part of its reserves, around 250,000 objects, out of the 2.2 million in the entire institution. It makes them accessible to the public in a hybrid place, both workspace for its multiple conservatives and exhibition and education place for its museum practices.
