Three men, including two Ukrainians, charged in the investigation into fires against properties related to the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, will be tried in April 2026, according to a date fixed during a hearing on Friday June 6 before the London Criminal Court.
Roman Lavrynovych, 21, and Stanislav Carpiuc, 26 years old and Romanian nationality but born in Ukraine, appeared on Friday in videoconference from the high security prison of Belmarsh where they are detained, while Petro Pochynok, 34, refused to leave his cell to attend the audience.
All three are suspected of being involved in the fire which targeted the former residence of Keir Starmer on the night of May 11 to 12 in the Kentish Town district, in northern London.
