Botox bandit mum and daughter fled beauty clinic without paying £500 bill

A BEAUTICIAN has been left furious after two botox bandits fled her clinic without paying their £500 bill.

Businessowner Jade Adams, 28, claims she was scammed by a scheming mother and daughter duo for treatments.

The devious duo booked in the clinic for pricey fillers and botox but left without paying

The con artists booked in for pricey lip fillers and botox at Jade Louise Aesthetics in Coventry on Monday, but never paid.

Jade explained the slippery pair had contacted her via Instagram to secure an appointment, but “made excuses” when asked for a deposit.

The trusting esthetician decided to proceed with their treatments despite them swerving a downpayment.

The daughter got her lips pumped up with filler before Jade claims she faked a phone call so she could step outside.

Her mother then took her turn, getting botox and lip filler injected, before also scarpering.

They made off after enjoying £510 worth of treatments, leaving Jade, who has run the business for 18 months, in tears.

She told CoventryLive: “They were two ladies, a mum and a daughter – at least they claimed to be a mum and a daughter – and booked through Instagram and kept putting off paying a deposit.

“The daughter had her treatment first, she had lip filler.

“Afterwards, she said she needed to go out to call a nail lady her mum had an appointment with saying she was going to be late.

“Then the mum had her treatments – botox and lip filler.

“Afterwards she said she just needed to go outside to grab her daughter as she had her phone.

“I didn’t think anything of it as she had left her coat on the chair.”

But after following the crafty customers outside, a horrified Jade realised she had been swindled.

I felt upset. It’s a lot of money to lose when you’re running a business on your own. I think I will also make sure I take deposits.

The 28-year-old continued: “Within 15 seconds she was gone. She must have run from my door to the end of the car park and was gone.

“I felt upset. It’s a lot of money to lose when you’re running a business on your own. I think I will also make sure I take deposits.

“In the past, I have been very lenient. You don’t want to turn people away.”

But luckily, Jade had taken snaps of the older woman’s results – as she does with the majority of clients – and has now shared them online.

She published a Facebook appeal to find the culprits and says a number of people have contacted her claiming to have also been stung by the pair.

The business owner added: “There is a silver lining.

“I have got a lot more business because people have seen the story so I take a positive from it.”

West Midlands Police confirmed an allegation of theft has been reported.
